React Presents Kicks off Kendrick Lamar’s Fall Tour

The hip-hop world has certainly been buzzing as of late, and one of the names on everybody’s tongue is most definitely Kendrick Lamar. Hailing from Compton, California, Lamar is a seen as a major player bringing back the West Coast hip-hop scene. Some of the most respected veterans in hip-hop have his back. He has worked with The Game, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Little Brother, Jay Rock, DJ Quik, Scott Storch, and Cool & Dre. Lamar is even being championed by hip-hop legend Dr. Dre, who was featured in Lamar’s song, “The Recipe”. He is set to drop his highly anticipated debut album, Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, alongside Dr. Dre on Interscope Records on October 2nd of this year. Lamar is also drawing much critical acclaim as a prominent member of the rising hip-hop super group, Black Hippy, alongside fellow West Coast MCs Jay Rock, Ab-Soul), and Schoolboy Q. Check out the groups’ latest mixtape right here.

On top of working on his upcoming album, Lamar hit the road hard with tour dates all across the U.S. stopping at venues, clubs, and music festivals. After summer performances at Pitchfork Music Festival and The First Midwest Bank Amphitheater, he just announced an extensive fall tour and React Presents are extremely proud to welcome him back to Chicago on October 28th! Lamar will be accompanied by fellow Black Hippy group members Ab-Soul and Jay Rock.
